Overview:

Dragon Training Academy is a special online video game that was promoted alongside the November 15th, 2011 release of Gift of the Night Fury and Book of Dragons. It is promoted that the player can use the information they received from watching Book of Dragons to help them throughout the game. The game can only be accessed by receiving a game card with an access code on the back sold with the Gift of the Night Fury/ Book of Dragons Double DVD Pack, and is only available in the U.S.

Similar to the official movie video game released the previous year, players can customize their own dragons, but this game features the player's ability to create their own Viking avatar. In the game they have the freedom to fight dragon battles in 14 battle arenas, 8 dragon lairs, and 4 legend games, as well as earn training and battle badges.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Sadly, this game is no longer available on the official Dreamworks Dragons site as of 2013.
