Description:
Despite the game being released before the movie premiered in theaters, it's plot takes place after the movie.
A year after the defeat of the Red Death, the Vikings have made that day an annual holiday called "Thor'sday Thursday". During the festival there is a dragon tournament in which all the Viking teenagers are encouraged to battle the dragons they've trained at a chance for the winning title of "Dragon Training Champion". Hiccup, Astrid, and the other Vikings teens are all training tirelessly for the competition.
The player can assume the role as either Hiccup or Astrid. They must complete the tasks of customizing their own dragons and taking care of them in the Dragon's Den, finding food for their dragons from around the island, helping make repairs to enter the Wild Zone--where caves, more food items, and mini games cane be found--fight and train against other dragons in warm up, and eventually winning the tournament by defeating Snotlout.
