The cockroach of the dragon world. The Fireworm is a tiny dragon that mostly inhabited to dark caverns and caves and has the ability to burn anything it touches. It's said by the Vikings that it's skin "burns hotter than the sun". It's rare to see one by itself, as they usually flock together...sometimes among the thousands.

- Strangely enough, the fireworm is afraid of fire....
- The Fire worm was seen in the episode's Portrait of Hiccup as a Buff Man and Gem of a Different Color.
